Workshop at TEMU 2010 - "Identifying Enabling Technologies for Future Internet Experimentation"
The workshop will be an adjunct to the International Conference on Telecommunications and Multimedia (TEMU) on Friday 16 July 2010 (Crete, Greece) and will feature presentations of the latest results of EC funded projects in the area of FIRE (Future Internet Research and Experimentation) such as VITAL++, PII, Self-NET, EFIPSANS and others.
The workshop will gather experts from the area of Future Internet Research interested in the construction and deployment of testing and experimentation platforms for future networks and services, as well as experts interested in using such infrastructures to evaluate new technologies and systems. Since the area of discourse is quite wide the workshop will focus on a limited number of topics without excluding new and innovative new topics that might be of interest. In particular, the workshop will focus on:

PII demonstration Celtic event
During the
Eureka Celtic event that was held in Paris on 11-12 March 2009, the visitors had the opportunity to see a live demonstration of on-demand tesbed provisioning capabilities. At the
exhibition space, PII participants from Germany and Greece showed how a testbed, spanning multiple networks, was enriched by dynamically adding desired functionality, by simply deploying needed components via the Teagle portal.
The Teagle portal allows the customer to look-up and dynamically deploy selected testbed configurations and testbed functionality.
